The L85A2 SA80 (Small Arms for the 1980s) is a replica of the Enfield L85A2 (SA80) that has been the standard issue service rifle of the British Armed Forces since 1987 and used in current operations in Afghanistan.
This is a Good quality and full size 1:1 replica sa 80 rifle bbgun.
It is Single shot action made from abs plastic with some metal parts
all finished in the legal gray and blue colours it really looks the biz.
The cocking mechanism is realistic and solid and when cocking the bbgun the sound and feel is like using the real thing.
The magazine’s capacity is a around 30 bb pellets / rounds so you wont need to reload often.
Estimated fire power is a draw dropping 360 fps with a estimated range of 50 metres.
The box includes- electronic red dot scope - torch and around 50BB in a small box.
BBguns4less.co.uk recommend using heavier 0.20g BB pellets this will give you around 270fps-280fps but give you better accuracy.
The length of the airsoft gun approx 78.5cm long and approx 31cm in height.

Good for the price you pay, if and when it does stop working will still be a cool toy for my son to mess about with. I painted over the blue as soon as I got it. Going to get a pistol next

Not bad, with room for improvement
This model is sold as an SA80 A2, however the cocking handle is the dead give away that it is in fact an A1. The model does not come with the standard SUSAT scope. Also the sling buckle on the hand guard was mounted on the wrong side (it should be on the left.)
I would like to comment on the firing however the trigger broke within seconds of taking it out of the box. It looks reasonable though. -
Uselfulness
Bought this as to use as an aid at the Army Cadet Detachment. Had to remove the stock and swap the forward sling loop to the correct side and the safety catch is the wrong way round!! Haven't used it as a bb gun yet, it will probably be used for Marksmanship principles and drill. I don't think the body of the weapon comes apart, otherwise I would change the safety catch. Otherwise, a good build and hopefully useful.

Looks good minor discrepancies in the name should be LA85A1 as it had the A1 cocking handle safety catch works the wrong way round nice for teaching marksmanship principles. Overall it's a nice piece
