DESCRIPTION: 

The UMP.45 was designed in the 1990's as the successor to the incredibly popular
H&K MP5,  Lighter and more economical than the MP5, the UMP is capable of firing
either 9mm, .40, or .45 - making it an extremely versatile design that can be tailored
to the organisation that has requested it; It is not practical to convert a UMP.45 to 9mm
on the field, but each version CAN be converted to fire a different ammunition type
by switching the bolt, barrel, and magazine. 
The main selling point of the UMP is its ability to fire a larger, more powerful round than
most conventional SMG's that are currently on the market. 

Umarex have yet again excelled at this weapon, another Sportline gun this is tailored for
players just starting out into the world of Airsofting - Similar in principle to the MP5 offered
by Umarex, this weapon is externally mostly plastic (in this case, the same as the real thing) 
Internally this is a solid, metal weapon capable of being run as a primary weapon within 
skirmishes without any real issues presenting themselves - it has a metal gearbox, good
quality Hop unit, a decent barrel, and a very nice magazine! 

In terms of "skirmishability", this weapon is up there at the top of its price bracket, Magazines
are as readily available for this as they are for the MP5 making it perfect for a main rifle, The
weapon comes AS STANDARD with a set of 3/9/12/6o'clock rails (one per each face of the weapon)
meaning the possibility for attaching grips, lasers, torches, sights etc is catered for making this
a very customisable weapon that you can adapt to suit your own individual play style without the
need to buy aftermarket parts like you would on other smaller SMG's. 

Build quality on this is really quite surprising, for such a cheap weapon the body feels solid - there is
no flex or give, and the lower receiver seems to be moulded with quite a generous amount of plastic,
all the accents are metal; such as the rails, shot selector, charging handle etc. meaning as with most
Umarex starter weapons, it is only metal where it needs to be - anywhere that is likely to be handled
the most or that is prone to being knocked.

In summary - this makes a fantastic beginner weapon to take into the world of "proper" skirmishes, 
the folding stock means that this is a VERY adaptable weapon capable of being used in the tightest
of situations with no issues at all to the general 30~50 Metre ranges that most field engagements 
take place at, Couple this with the 4x accessory rails and this really does give you the chance to 
explore the world of airsoft without breaking the bank. 
As with the Umarex MP5, this weapon does not pin you down to one role - equipped with a reflex
style sight and a grip this makes just as good a field primary as any similarly priced M4/AK would,
but also offers the opportunity to take the SAME weapon into CQB situations without losing any 
efficiency or risking unwanted bumps/knocks caused by the weapon being too big or cumbersome!
