IDEAL SKIRMISH PISTOL - HIGH (YET SAFE) FPS AND RANGE
While this pistol shares the name of the iconic .50 "Wrist breaker" handgun, the Baby Eagle
(actually known as the Jericho) is functionally worlds apart from its namesake, the baby eagle
uses a conventional double action short recoil system inspired by that found on the CZ-75,
the baby eagle is chambered in .41 AE, but can utilise standard 9mm luger by simply changing
the barrel. it was created in the 1990's and continues to be manufactured to this day - newer
versions are distinguishable from the older models by the addition of the accessory rail forward
of the trigger housing. it is available in both steel construction and polymer.
This weapon makes a great backup for any skirmisher because of the simplicity and reliability
of the NBB design - it is incredibly efficient on gas, it is quiet, and it is insanely accurate! while
the magazine capacity is less than that of a Glock it is not necessarily an issue being only 15 -
this compares to a single stack 1911 so doesn't put you at a serious disadvantage. add in the
insane accuracy to the mix and the fact it only holds 15 is not a problem at all!
The build on this pistol is extremely robust, while not the highest quality of polymer it is a thick
mould meaning there is no flex or give - which is what you want in a skirmish weapon, all the
moving components such as the trigger and magazine release work very smoothly and have hardly
any left/right play at all.
The weapon is incredibly comfortable to hold and shoot, it is light enough to easily "throw" from one
target to the next, but has enough weight to let you know there is something in your hand - it works
out as a very happy medium and feels incredibly balanced when aiming. As this is modelled off the
newer baby eagle pistol it features the lower RIS section, this allows for the mounting of torches or
lasers and can make this a great nigh pistol because of how quiet it is to use.
Being so efficient, quiet, and accurate this really is one of the best options available for a backup weapon
to take skirmishing - the high power and BAX system give it the range needed to be able to contend with
AEG's when you need it to, and the accuracy will allow you to make stealth kills when your AEG may be too
loud and give away your position. All things considered, this is definitely a pistol I would recommend not
just to new players, but to those more experienced skirmishers amongst us!
